Sims for the cube
Strengths: Its a port of a great PC games - Get a Life mode
Weakness: The port doesn't go that well - no expansions
I never actually played the PC version of the Sims, so I can't compare gameplay. But I have seen others play it and the graphics do not compare. The PC version is much better. No expansions also inhibit alot of the gameplay from what i can see. However, those who have a gamecube, and not necessarily a computer good enough to play the sims - this game is for you. I DID have an enjoyable time...

Fun Game :)
Strengths: This is a great game for stradegy lovers. Great for those that are a fan of the game.
Weakness: No expansion packs, its what makes the SIms fun. Limited on how much you can buy Trying to keep your character happy is tough
I cant complain about the game too much. It is still the Sims, but not nearly as fun as teh PC version. I'd recommend you try the computer version before going with the GC version. Both games are cheap, and you can have an older computer run the sims perfectly.

Big Disappointment
Weakness: poor programming - bad graphics
I am a huge Sims fanatic, and have bought all of the expansion packs for PC. I was extremely disapointed with the outcome of this game. Controls are horrible, with lack of fluency and an innate sense. The only reason I bought the game was to play "Get a Life Mode". I have to say this is the only redeeming quality of the game. Though thats hard to day, because it takes so long to get anything done...

The Sims
Strengths: Two Player, challenging, teaches you about having responsibilities inorder to move out of the house, have more to choose from when making your sims.
Weakness: Takes a little time to get use to it, difficult living with mother to begin with, on the GC version it is harder to view the emotions and personal levels.
The over all view of the game is great, it just takes some time to get the hang of it after playing the PC version for so long. You can have your Sims more detailed on this version where on the PC you take what they give you. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who loves the Sims.

The Sims for PC (and its various...
Strengths: #1 best-selling PC game now on Gamecube, new level-based and two-player modes, open-ended game play
Weakness: Slightly dumbed down from PC version, controls still fairly complex, bland undetailed graphics, long save times, takes a while to get familiar/comfortable with
The Sims for PC (and its various expansion packs) have been best sellers for years now, so it was only a matter of time before someone came up with the bright idea of releasing these games for the home consoles. While PC gamers now have Sims 2, console players can now try out the original Sims strategy game for themselves. In the console Sims game, you're in charge of the daily needs, desires and...
