BLINX THE TIME SWEEPER is a 3rd person platformer for the XBOX. This game was one of Microsoft’s flagship titles when the XBOX first came out. U play as Blinx the cat, where u have to vacuum garbage and shoot it at ur enemies. Each level has a 10 minute time limit in which u have to defeat all of the enemies and find the exit to the level. This game is bad in that there are so many things wrong with it. First and foremost, ur character waddles very slowly and will die with one hit. Although u have VCR like powers, like rewind, fast forward, pause , and record and slow, it still does not improve gameplay against the boring enemies. Another problem that complicates this game needlessly is the required crystal collecting, which must be done in the proper combination or else u will have to start all over again. U are also forced to retry levels and backtrack multiple times in order to earn enough money to buy better equipment and weapons. Unfortunately, this means u have to complete each boring stage correctly and in the proper manner or u will have to start all over again. This basically boils down the game into enemy position memorization and constant retries, thus killing the fun factor. Stay away from this game!
