Tough but fair

Strengths: It allows people to be more specific in what kind of wrestler they would like to be, and more interactive with performing moves instead of just pushing 1 button.

Weakness: It could use some more in game instructions for basic controls. They also need more variety for the create a superstar and create an entrance modes.

Overall I think that this game is really fun and it was nice to see some more modes in it. I was really happy to hear that you can take music of your xbox360 harddrive to use as your superstars music. but they don\\\\\\\'t give you instructions on how to do it. The graffics get better with each new edition to this series and they are great. Aside from the confusing new controls and the lack of in...

WWE Smackdown VS Raw Brings The Passion You Once Had Back Into You

Strengths: Graphics, A Large Roster of Wrestlers, More Weapons, More Realism brought into the game.

Weakness: Some Wrestlers Have already Left the company before this came out, No More fights in the crowd areas, Controls kinda of scetchy

Okay well this game is certainly unique with it's Ups and downs. First of all they took the crowds fighting right off this year's game which sucks. But that's just a little problem compared to the control system they force me to play with. Because last year you were able to switch back to the old way of playing, but this year they completely cut ties to all the past games in the series. But...

Controls and submission system are letdowns

Strengths: Graphics are a major plus, the entrance videos are crisp and up to date, storyline mode is fun the first time through.

Weakness: Gameplay is poor, the new submission system is tedious and leads to button mashing, not enough people on the roster.

This game is a downgrade from previous versions in the "Smackdown Vs. Raw" series. The gameplay has changed slightly, for the worse, because many of the controls are difficult to learn. If you go a few days without playing the game, you can forget the controls easily. The graphics are solid and the characters all look true-to-form, but this game is avoidable for anyone who has any of the...

Smack *DOWN* is *RAW*

Strengths: Still fun after all these years, entrances and real music are always fun.

Weakness: They still haven't figured out having managers come out properly. The formatting is silly for picking matches. GM mode is still a joke. Airbrushed~! character pix hilarious.

Well, I waited for a bit to pick up the latest edition of Smack Down! Vs RAW for the 360. Honestly, I'm really glad I did. The game's load screens are a little better than previous versions, but not much. Are you interested in playing as Cryme Tyme (who was fired in August 2007, but this game was released just before X-Mas), Sabu (fired), The Sandman (fired), Johnny Nitro instead of John...

WWE 2008

Strengths: +improved graphics +new submission system +new animations +import own music +new fighting styles

Weakness: -gameplay regressed -slowed down gameplay -storyline -outdated roster -long load times -no weight detection

WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2008 is one step forward and a couple step backwards for this aging series. On a positive note the submission system in the game has been overhauled with a new tug of war type system. This tug of war system is a welcome replacement to the previous button mashing submission system. Also new to game play are fighting styles that the user chooses that give wrestlers special...
