Fun flying action

Strengths: Excellent graphics and sound, enjoyable gameplay

Weakness: Leans toward arcade play for those who prefer more simulation realism

Seeing that this is one of few flight games for the 360, it is a very good game. The visuals of the jets and the sky are outstanding. As is nearly always the case with flight games, the terrain looks good from a distance, but when you get closer it becomes blurry and a little blocky. If you enjoy tons of action and a less realism in aerial combat games, this is the game for you.

Good Flight Game

Strengths: Good if you like flying around and shooting

Weakness: None so far

Purchased this for my boys. They liked the game but it is not one of their favorites. They are more into Halo and Call of Duty. You basically just fly around a lot and it really didn't hold my boys attention very well. Probably one of the better flying games though.

Weakness: - only 2 maps for online coop - missing realistic setting for hard core simulation fans - bad translation from japanese to english makes for some awkward (but fun, lol) dialogue

It has graphics that look awesome on any tv, but on a plasma, you'll be in heaven as you soar throgh the clouds!!! Fun, fast-action, but it also allows for some freedom of choice over what objective to choose which impacts the outcome of the battle. Engrossing single player mode, plus online multiplayer.

Only major downside for me is that there are only 2 maps where you and your friends can team up against the AI. There are more maps where you and your friends can battle up against other humans, but I prefer fighting with my friends against the AI.

Definitely recommend it to anyone who likes airplane shooters and has felt neglected by all of the other titles out there. Even FPS (first person shooter) fans should love it.

Note, if you like simulation games, this may not be your cup of tea. The game sacrificees a few things to make it more enjoyable to play like no black out, red out, fuel restrictions, and an unrealistic amount of missiles. But for me, if they made it realistic, I'd be bored, since most real modern dog fights last less than 5 minutes!!

Ace Combat 6

Strengths: Great graphics and really fun dog fights. Really intense battles. Awesome online experience! More frequent checkpoints make it easier.

Weakness: Camera angles can become annoying. Enemy planes are a little too easy when not online.

This is one of the best fighter plane games i have ever played. It is definately worth buying. It is very addictive and a load of fun when playing online.
