Shrek The Third
Strengths: Lighthearted brawler/platformer that makes decent use of the license
Weakness: Graphics somewhat bland, game is a bit buggy and lacks tight control
Shrek The Third is a typical movie tie-in game. It is competant but nothing special. I played this game in it's entirety and collected all 1000 achievement points. For the 10 hours or so this took the game was enjoyable. It probably won't have much replay value afterwards, however. You play as Shrek and rest of the cast (Donkey, Puss, Fiona, and a few others). In general, you will be restricted...

Fun with Shrek & Friends
Strengths: Cute chracters with nice animations, Nice platformer
Weakness: Not much challenge
This is a nice platformer with some action elements. You can play as various characters & each one has their special moves. I found the game fun if you play it in bits & pieces. There is not enough challenge to keep it interesting for long durations. There is not much replay value unless for achievements sake you want to replay levels & find each & every hidden object. The achievements are not...

Great for children, so/so for adults
Strengths: Faithful to the 'Shrek' themes / humor, simple gameplay, above average graphics in some areas
Weakness: Not much there for anyone wanting a 'deeper' gameplay experience. Multiplayer graphics average to poor.
My 8-year old daughter plays this game often and thoroughly enjoys it. She is a big Shrek fan and loves the recognizable characters / voices. It is definately a more simple title that younger children can enjoy due to the simple controls and more linear gameplay. I sometimes play the co-op battles with her - some are more fun than others, but they all have a very basic feel to them. 1 other minor...

Shrek 3rd for Xbox 360
Strengths: A simple, straight fwd, easy to navigate thru levels: Good game for a young (5-8) kid.
Weakness: No co-op play, graphics is not up to Xbox 360 standard.
This is a very "uneventful" game for any gamer > 10 yrs old. The one that you'd play once (take about 4 hours to go thru the game), and probably not play it ever again. But for younger kids they will like it, 'cause it's pretty straight forward, hard to die, easy-to-find treasures, it gives you the starting point where the character die (so you don't have to start over ... This game is not worth...

Good fun!
Strengths: Love the characters and sequence!
Weakness: Limited Control
My son loves it! He's a huge fan, so I knew this would no disappoint. However, there is some limit on the control, but overall good little game. He enjoys it and that's all that really matters.
