Strengths: minimal learning curve

Weakness: not very deep, graphics showing their age

MLB 2K7 (PS3)

Strengths: (1) A much improved baseball game over last year's 2K6 (360) (2) Good base-running and fielding control (3) AI is compentent and acts believably (4) Individual player animations are true to life

Weakness: (1) There are still some non-realistic AI issues - players always slow down when approaching a base (2) Graphics are decent but some players are still very generic and odd

MLB 2K7 is a good baseball game that improves greatly over the version released last year on the XBOX 360. The visuals are not particularly state-of-the-art but the animations are believable and there are some nice touches in regards to attention to detail of individual playing styles and signature quirks. The base-running and fielding is done well but not without minor issues. Overall, I believe most gamers will be able to forgive the minor faults of this game and get much enjoyment out of it.

Since I love to play MLB 2K7 so much, I own several versions of this game, PS3, Xbox360, PSP. As I said in my review of Xbox 360 version, Take 2 series seems to be the best among baseball games. It is fun to play, its learning curve is fast, and its game sounds are so real that its game atmosphere is good to me. However PS3 version has inferior graphics to Xbox 360 one. Even though PS3 version's graphics issues, I still love to play this one.

fun and addicting game

Strengths: easy to learn, very fun

Weakness: subpar graphics, framerates not that great

this game is overall really good. the strengths outweigh the weakness. even though the graphics are not that good and the framerates are poor, the game is still very playable.

home run derby

Strengths: graphics

Weakness: gameplay is to much of a home run derby

fun game when u play online because with 1 swing of the bat u can change the game but when pitching u have to be acurate thats the one thing that is like real baseball if u make a mistake u will pay for it but overall if u play online its fun.
