Eragon (XBOX 360)
Strengths: (1) Inexpensive and might entertain youngsters if they are not easily frustrated
Weakness: (1) Bland graphics (2) Poor enemy AI (3) Unpredictable camera (4) Shallow and repetitive gameplay
I figured I would give Eragon a chance seeing as how it was very inexpensive and might provide a rental's worth of value. It was a decent distraction for a couple of minutes but it is very hard to play through such a generic and unpolished game when there are so many better offerings waiting on the shelf. The game itself lacks any sort of cohesive plot development or structure and comes off as a...

10 bucks or less...
Strengths: Co-op play is fun. Some neat animations in the kill moves
Weakness: repetitive action. Dragon controls sloppy
Eragon has received terrible reviews just about anywhere you look, but the game is really not that bad. Just don,t expect more than an action hack and slash fest and you and a friend can have decent fun playing together. The dragon riding parts are probably the worst part of the game. Eragon can be bought really cheap now, so if you like "Golden Axe" style gameplay, give it a go.

Eragon
Strengths: Wow, none
Weakness: A 360 port of a poor last-gen game. Gameplay is boring, camera is horrible, and it does not convey the story of the book very well either.
Hey, a video game based on a book (and movie) about a Dragon-riding hero? How could this possibly not be a huge hit? Well, they found a way. For one, the game was designed for Playstation 2-level graphics and then ported to the 360. So while the graphics are improved over the PS2 version, they aren't improved by much. Second, the gameplay consists mostly of on-foot missions with very little...

eragon xbox 360
Strengths: gameplay was alot of fun, and nothing to hard to think about just killing and killing.
Weakness: IT was a bit repetitive at times, but overall not many weaknesses
i think the game was a lot of fun, and really was much better than i thought it would be. Flying on the dragon and burning things up was a cool change in scenery, and the last fight scene is awesome.I would recommend this game to just about anyone

eragon
Strengths: Dragons are neat, so battles can be fun at times Achievements are easy
Weakness: bad gameplay overall
This game is another example of how licensed games usually are not good at all.
Only reason I bought this game was because it was dirt cheap and supposedly was easy to beat and get 360 achievements. In fact, it was so bad I didn't even finish the game.
If you have interest in the movie ( why? ) then you might enjoy the game for a bit - but if you don't , stay away. Far away.
