Splinter Cell with Choices, but are there enough?
Strengths: Solid stealth gameplay as expected from the series.
Weakness: Rather long load times, short run-time, and a strange loading issue.
As a fan of the series, and a fan of stealth style gameplay in general, this iteration of the Splinter Cell franchise was a treat. One of the biggest issues in the past was "Wow this game has great graphics, too bad I am in night vision green 90% of the time." D.A. brings Sam Fisher literally into the light. Much of the game is done in well lit areas in which you must learn to use cover and...

Excellent game
Strengths: Good graphics, story line
Weakness: None so far.
Splinter Cell Double Agent is a great game. It has lots of actions, an excellent story line. Plus, the graphics are awesome. You'll need an HDTV (or a large LCD monitor) to fully enjoy it. I think it's worth my 60 bucks. I cannot think anything bad about it!

Best of the series
Strengths: excellent graphics, multiplayer, story
Weakness: not much. multiplayer lags
I've never really gotten into the other splinter cell titles as I didn't play video games that much. When I picked this game up I caught myself playing it for hours and hours. Excellent graphics and an engaging storyline made this a title that hooked me from the start. My little time with the multiplayer was a blast except when I experienced the occasional lag. Heard there was a patch for that...

Splinter Cell: Double Agent - Another Winner
Strengths: Excellent Splinter Cell Gameplay, more freedom during levels, freedom to choose missions, excellent graphics and sound.
Weakness: Some of the AI is still a little cheesy, but all in all the weaknesses are few.
This is the best Splinter Cell yet. There is a blend of old and new things within the game that allow us veterans to enjoy some of our fun toys and gadgets and to get rid of the old less-exciting ones (lock-picking by hand for one). The gameplay is awesome, no longer are you confined by whatever Lambert says. You must balance your orders between the terrorist organization that you are undercover...

Splinter Cell
Strengths: It's splinter Cell, so it's good.
Weakness: It's still Splinter Cell
This is a decent game in the mold of the Splinter Cell franchise. But there's not mush wow factor here. It's what you would expect. There's a good story, good multiplayer, and a good single player. But otherwise it's the same Splinter Cell. Which isn't bad, because that's pretty good.
