Ultimate Spider-man is based off the comic of the same name. Ultimate Spiderman is basically a re-telling of the classic Spiderman stories in a modernized setting. In this game players will play as Spiderman and Venom. Graphically Ultimate Spiderman looks quite impressive. With cel shaded graphics, the game looks like the comics brought to life. Voice acting is top notch, and boss fights are excellent. The story of the game is from Brian Bendis who also is the writer of the Ultimate Spiderman comics too. Within the game, expect to face and run into several familiar faces from the Marvel Universe.

Unfortunately not everything is spectacular with Ultimate Spiderman. Fans of the previous Spiderman games may feel that the combat and especially the web swinging have been downgraded in this game. The downgrade makes combat and swinging around NY city less fulfilling than in the past. Gamers can easily finish story mode in a rental, and outside of the unlockables there isn’t much incentive to play anymore.

Ultimate Spider-man is a game everyone can enjoy and is highly recommended.

ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN is a third person action game for the Xbox. If you have played the past Spider-Man games for the xbox, then you will have no problem adjusting to the gameplay of this game. What you will notice is that the art style is different for this version because the publisher decided to use a cel shading technique in order to present the game in a more comic book style. Gameplay is basically swinging on your webline around the city , saving citizens and beating up evil thugs and super villains. One of the more irritating aspects of the game is when you have to chase a super villain around the city because if you lose him you will have to start all over again. You also get an opportunity to play as the villain Venom which adds some variety to the game play. Instead of rescuing civilians all the time, you can instead opt to eat them up for energy and basically cause as much mass destruction as you can. This version is more fun because you can basically run amuck and act like a supervillain. I really recommend getting this game.

We are Venom!

Strengths: Great cel-shaded graphics. Awesome cut-scenes. Fun, free-roam city to explore. Play as Venom!

ultimate spiderman is a cool name for a game like that.

Strengths: get to be both good and bad. your web has to attach to something.

Weakness: only one attack button,that kinda sucks because you cant do combos like you can in spiderman 2.

that is a cool game. thats almost all there is to say.its so cool that venom has his strengths and weaknesses and spiderman has his strengths and weaknesses great game. if ya see it buy it.
