Strengths: Graphics, Gameplay, New swing/hit options, New Courses

Weakness: None

This is another great Tiger Woods game. If you enjoyed the older versions, you will love this one. 06 Includes new courses, new swing and hit options, and better character customization. You can unlock new items and stat points as you play the game. I highly recommend this game for any Tiger Woods PGA Tour fans.

Current Generation Port for the Next Generation System

Strengths: Tiger Woods trademark

Weakness: Current generation port transfered to a next generation system without bonuses.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour has always been a great game, but when it comes to the next generation system(360) the graphics just don't match up to games like Call of Duty. The interface is still the same, but I can't help but think I would have the same experience on the Xbox with just partially hyped up graphics. EA has dropped the first round of games to $39.99, but for this one, I would still wait...

Tiger Woods PGA Tour has always been a great game, but when it comes to the next generation system(360) the graphics just don't match up to games like Call of Duty. EA has dropped the first round of games to $39.99, but for this one, I would still wait for another $10 drop. I would say this is Tiger Woods 2006 incomplete.

graet game

i have had this game for two weeks and it is awesome. the graphics are awesome on the HDTV. i can tell a huge difference from my tiger woods 2005 for xbox and this for the 360. if you liked this game in previous years you are gonna like it now.

Meh, at best

Strengths: Sort of pretty graphics, lots of golfer customization

Weakness: Low amount of courses, very little play experience out of the box

While the controls are similar, the execution is worlds away, especially while putting. If I can't putt, I can't get a low score, so I can't progress, and can't unlock anything. So this falls into my other main complaint, there's very little to do without having to circumnavigate the lousy controls.

Visually this is sub-par for a 360 launch title, and even lower when you compare it to games that have come out in the year after it. The audio is pretty well done, but I do have to question why some of the music tracks were chosen for a golf game.

Overall, even if it is in the discount bin, it's really not worth it. The achievements are hard to get, the game controls poorly, and it is just a sub-par launch title.

great game

Strengths: great visuals and gameplay

Weakness: graphics could be alot better for a 360 type game

i would easily buy this game again if i ever lost it. the gameplay is amazing.. graphics are ok, but it is so much fun.. it makes you feel like you are really on the course hitting the balls and being just like tiger. go buy this game.. not a regret in the world
